How it Works
Tell me what you're picturing
Most people begin here without a finished vision. Come to me with a memory, a color, a person, or a place you want captured in glass. I can help build the rest of the vision.
1
Place a 50% Deposit
Once your deposit is in, I begin turning your idea into something visual..
2
Review 2–3 design mockups
I'll sketch and mock up two possible directions based on your idea. Once one is agreed upon I will iterate in more detail so you can see it take shape before any glass is cut. In the case that none of the designs are liked, I will return your deposit and keep $100 for the time taken to render the designs.

Design approved, production begins
Once we agree on a final design together, I start building. From this point on, the design is locked in and no further changes can be made.
Craftsmanship
Solely designed and produced by me
I design and render every lamp, cut and assemble the glass myself, and handle all of the wiring and woodworking for the base. There's no studio team or outsourced step. Every lamp passes through one set of hands from first sketch to final wire.
Every piece of glass is one of a kind
Even glass from the same batch can vary in grain and tone. That variation is part of working with a natural material- please keep this in mind when ordering, since no two panes, and no two lamps, will ever be perfectly identical.
Timeline & Pricing
Timing & Turnaround: 1-2 months
The typical turnaround for a custom lamp, from approved design to finished piece is 30-60 days. This can shift depending on how many other commissions are currently in progress.
Pricing: $1,100 - $3,000
Every lamp starts at $1,100. The final price depends on the complexity of the design. Pane count, size, glass type and shape complexity all factor in.
Shipping
Custom Built Wooden Crate
Each lamp ships in a crate built specifically for its shape and shade, with padding fitted around the glass to prevent movement.
Insured for Full Value
Every shipment is insured for the full commission price, so you're covered in the rare case of damage in transit.
Tracking Provided
Once your crate ships, you'll receive tracking information so you know exactly when to expect it.
White Glove Delivery Available
There are cases in which personal delivery is a cheaper option than crate shipment. This white-glove option means I personally transport and set up the piece for you — eliminating any risk of transit damage. You'd just cover the cost of my airfare or train travel to you; if that ends up being less than a crated shipment would cost, this option can actually work out cheaper.
Let's Begin

No two
lamps alike.
Every commission so far has been genuinely one of a kind. Some customers arrive with a specific memory or photo as inspiration; others hand me complete creative freedom. Both approaches work well.
